These general contest rules apply to Thrive FM contests unless a specific contest announces additional or different rules.
Eligibility
- Participants must be at least 13 years old.
- Winners under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian claim the prize and sign any required paperwork.
- Participants may not enter on behalf of another person without permission.
- Employees of Thrive FM, Missionary Radio, Pennyrile Christian Community, Inc., affiliated organizations, promotional partners, and members of their immediate households are not eligible.
Contest Entry
- No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win.
- Unless otherwise specified, entries are limited to one entry per person per contest.
- Entries must be submitted according to the instructions given for each contest.
Call-In Contests
- Call the designated number during the announced contest period.
- Winners are selected according to the criteria announced on air.
- Station decisions are final.
- Callers grant permission for Thrive FM to record and broadcast their name, voice, and contest participation.
Mail-In Contests
- Entries must be received by the announced deadline.
- Entries must be legible and include all requested information.
Online Contests
- Automated, robotic, duplicate, or fraudulent entries are prohibited.
- In the event of a dispute, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be considered the entrant.
Prizes
- Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
- Thrive FM may substitute a prize of equal or greater value when necessary.
- Winners must claim prizes within 10 business days unless other arrangements are approved.
- Unclaimed prizes become the property of the station.
Taxes
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- IRS reporting applies when required by law.
Publicity Release
By participating, winners grant Thrive FM permission to use their name, voice, likeness, and basic contest information for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Liability
Thrive FM is not responsible for technical failures, lost entries, delays, or circumstances beyond the station’s control. Participants release and hold harmless Thrive FM, Missionary Radio, Pennyrile Christian Community, Inc., and related parties from contest-related claims or liability.
General Conditions
- Thrive FM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel a contest when necessary.
- The station may disqualify anyone who violates the rules or attempts to compromise the contest.
- Station decisions are final.
